IIBEC, the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants, is an association of professionals who specialize in roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall specification and design. IIBEC’s mission is to advance the profession of building enclosure (roofing,waterproofing, and exterior wall) consultants by:
- Promoting ethical, independent, objective, and unbiased practice
- Encouraging the pursuit and exchange of knowledge
- Supporting the building enclosure consulting industry
- Endorsing practical sustainability
The IIBEC Delaware Valley Chapter is a locally-oriented group dedicated to serving the needs of IIBEC members in the Delaware Valley and surrounding areas and promoting the values of IIBEC on a local level. The Chapter seeks to present educational programs designed to explain the practical application of roofing and waterproofing technology and sound building enclosure theory, provides networking opportunities for Chapter members, and supports good relations and close cooperation between consultants, manufacturers, contractors, and other trade associations.
